just a friend of a friend jumping in uninvited. Hope you'll forgive me. The most interesting thing has happened in my life, I just want to share. I'm wife of a Dr. with 5 kids that has yoyo-ed my weight all my life and dieted and eat "healthy". 6 months ago my dr. tested me for food sensitivities and low and behold I tested positive to the one thing I store & used the most of. Wheat! Since, I have gone off wheat 100%, I have dropped 30 pounds, honest, without trying. I have been having fun learning to cook with all sorts of other grains and feel better than I have in years. Not sure why I felt to share, but wish you all the best in your weight loss endeavors.
I'm a Mormon American, mostly vegetarian housewife raising 10 AWESOME kids, including twin toddlers and a newborn, in a tiny farm town in Mexico. I've reluctantly traveled the survivor road when my first husband, and first love, committed suicide in 2004, leaving me a widow with 6 children. Since then, however, I have found happiness, now that I'm remarried, to my soul mate, and about the smartest man on the planet. He totally supports me and reads my blog everyday, possibly because he knows that every night I'm going to ask him if he did. Follow us as I try to find humor and excitement in the everyday affairs of running a home!
